History of Our Club
Who are we? We are an active
group of congenial senior citizens and retirees who meet at 9:00 AM on most Thursdays in the Community Center of Continental Ranch in Marana, Arizona. The group has been in continuous existence since 1994.
Continental Ranch is a planned community in this fast-growing progressive town that adjoins the northwest of Tucson. The center is located near the base
of Safford Peak , one of the twin peaks
in the north end of the Tucson Mountains. Safford is the peak at the left of the range shown
here and is sometimes locally referred to as Sombrero
Peak, because of its shape when viewed from a certain angle. This view of it, showing both of its peaks, was
taken in 1996 on Coachline Boulevard near its junction with Twin Peaks Road, looking towards and over the wash. The open area shown is all built-up now with residential housing.
A high wall stands where the oleanders appear in this picture. Windmill Park
is located across the road from this site.
Here we might include information about our founding members, when we were incorporated, and some of our club's most memorable
moments.

Our Club Officers
Here, we might include a list of names of some of the people who organize our club. We might also include a brief description
of their backgrounds and their involvement in club activities, and include a picture if available.
We might use a format
similar to this one:

Marg Williams is our President.
